Finishing Touches to Bring Your Vision of Birds to Life
Module 3: Refine Framing, Lighting, Emphasis and Image Quality
Our cameras are amazing, but they do not see the world like we do. That's why photos straight out of the camera often fall short of what you experienced on location. The good news? Post-processing lets you render images that truly reflect your vision and restore that natural, engaging look.
Start with two simple yet powerful edits that can enhance nearly any wildlife photo. These refine the composition framing and perfect the overall exposure. Easy to learn how. Any photo editor will do them.
Birds live in a cluttered world. The next highest payback is to selectively lighten or darken to separate the bird from the background and any distractions. Artists use lighting to guide the viewer’s eye around a photo or painting.
Finally a few specialized tools to improve image quality of birds in low light or far away which required noisy high ISO or deep crops.
